Stories: We are not Homeless

Ramona Mayon cleans the face of her youngest child, Merlin, 2, outside their home, a converted school bus. The Mayon's are trying raise five children in their bus which broke down in San Francisco.
  
Inside the cramped quarters of the bus, Ramona puts on make-up before going to the Cannabis Club while the children prepare for dinner. Ramona uses marijuana and Greg drinks heavily.
  
Zoe tries on a wedding veil while playing in the bus. The children are not in school and spend their time playing in the vacant lots around the bus.
     
  
The two boys, Morgan and Zachary Robertson clean the bus. The parents have the children do a lot of the cleaning and chores.
  
Rmona Mayon sits her son Merlin on a bike as they play together outside the bus.
  
Left alone by their parents for the afternoon, Zoe sits on the hood of the bus.
     
  
Ramona takes Zoe, Zachary and Morgan out panhandling on King Street in San Francisco. Drivers feel sympathy at the sight of the children and they make over $200 in two days.
  
Morgan holds a photo of his grandparents as Ramona sits on a bench in the park.
  
Serenity carries Merlin back to the bus through a field strewn with glass and trash after playing.
     
  
Greg rests in bed at the back of the bus. Greg has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C and is often to weak to get out of bed.
  
Ramona holds her head in despair while Greg works on the engine of their broken bus.
  
Merlin, their youngest, looks out of one of the bus windows.
